Summer has officially arrived and we are ready to spend just about every day in the pool. We have a lot of teaching to do this year with so many little ones just learning to swim, but I think we’ll manage just fine. While we’ve been at it we have also been teaching them a few things about their health, about the need for sunscreen and also why they want to keep their eyes healthy. Which means… they will go get an annual comprehensive eye exam!
The summer is the perfect time to schedule an annual eye exam for the kids because during the school year we have so much going on between school schedules and birthdays, and Christmas and halloween and every single weekend there is some new project. Summer, well, the kids are around the house and it’s a perfect time to take them in at our leisure.
We teamed up with Think About Your Eyes, a national public awareness campaign for vision health, to help raise public awareness about child eye care and encourage parents to take their kids to get an annual comprehensive eye exam this summer. We are huge advocates for health, especially the health of our kids. Who knows, maybe you have a budding photographer under your nose where healthy eyesight can be a definite perk.
