In past years we've done photography workshops that were only a day and a half long that were really focused on being condensed courses to cram in as much information as possible. We have since moved to a new state and have a different approach to how we wish to operate our workshops. Instead of structuring things to get in as much information we decided that it would be better if we made this into an experience that covers more than just portraiture. The new workshop is all about offering a relaxed environment where a group of people come together to learn more about the art of photography while also seeing some of the beauty of our local area. The entire workshop will take place over a four night stay at a cabin near Yellowstone National Park.
Portraiture in nature
During the workshop we will discuss topics concerning natural light, posing, composition, color, and more. This will be built into the daily activities and locations that we visit. It's important to bring your cameras because this is a complete hands on workshop. From taking photos together, to editing once we arrive back at the lake house.
Given our location we will visit a couple of world wide icons such as Yellowstone National Park and the Grand Tetons. For this section you'll want to bring your best landscape gear to get the most out of your experience.
Editing Courses EAch day
You'll want to bring your laptop! At the end of each day we will get together and edit our images as a group. You'll learn how to process quickly and efficiently while also pick up some tricks.
